This 1938 French Provincial home received a complete interior transformation throughout the entire residence. The home now reflects a French European interior to compliment the home’s French style of architecture. The design plan had to incorporate a cohesive layout between the home and grounds. Color was very important to the owner, as the prior all white palette from the mid 1990s, had run its course. The new color palette throughout almost the entire home includes reds, blues and gold color ways; all of which can be intermingled from one floor or room to the next. The design needed to maintain a neutral sense between masculine and feminine selections of furniture, fabrics, lighting, cabinetry, wall and floor coverings. The French-European style was the basis by which all decisions for redesigning the home were influenced, with French as the priority and European design filtering in second.
